At age 11, my family and I moved to North Carolina, USA. We left Puerto Rico without fully understanding what starting over in another country entailed, especially leaving behind my friends, family, and the house where I grew up. It was a difficult time for everyone. Understanding that Puerto Rico is still our "home" was something I struggled to grasp as a teenager, especially with my basic English and being Latina. Over time, I adapted to a new culture and focused on making new friends, participating in school activities, and continuing to grow.

I was accepted to UNCG, completed my bachelor's degree in political science and sociology, and began searching for places to pursue my master's degree in Europe. Life led me to the Netherlands, where I once again had to adapt to a new culture, make new friends, and keep going. I completed my master's degree at Maastricht University and the United Nations University in 2025.

Now the question was more serious. As a 22-year-old, where did I want to start a new life, make new friends, and move forward?

My family was in Spain; it was the safest place for me. Not only because of the security of being with family, but also because the language, climate, and culture were very similar to what I continued to long for: to feel "at home."

After a search that took weeks, Spain was the place I chose to develop my personal and professional life.

Once again, I had to adapt to a new culture, put in the effort, and develop what I understood to be a great opportunity: to use my life experience to help other young people and adults navigate this journey, which is full of situations for which we are unprepared. I'm not just talking about the emotional aspects, but also the legal, housing, and employment aspects. Starting the process brings with it many doubts, legal hurdles, and if not done correctly, it can lead to wasted money and time.

This page became my mission – to help others start a new life easily and with the support of others who, like me, once had to start from scratch, adapt, and give their best to achieve their goals.

I also know what happens when you do things right: opportunities open up.

Today I live in Spain, with a clear vision – to be that link between a dream and a goal, but without the stress, confusion, or mistakes that I experienced in the process.

I work with Puerto Ricans who want to study, work, or move to Spain, guiding them step by step through their visa process. I help you choose the right path, organize your documents, and arrive at your appointment with everything clear and under control.

No generic information or complicated processes: I have invested time in developing clear plans, providing real support, and offering personalized answers for each person who contacts us. I have the support of my parents, who, from a different perspective, have also contributed to enriching this experience, making it a fundamental part of the parental experience of the process when you begin it too young to go through it alone.

Moving to another country doesn't have to be overwhelming… when you have someone who has already walked that path with you. I hope we can talk soon and share this process in a simple, clear way, without fear of the unknown.
