It's ideal if you want to start your own business, provide professional services, or work freelance directly from Spain.

The essentials:

- Requires a business plan and proof of economic viability.
- Use form EX-07.
- You need business licenses (depending on the type of business).
- You must register with Social Security upon arrival.

(Teleworking)

Digital Nomad

For people who work remotely with companies outside of Spain or freelancers with mostly international clients.

This visa allows you to live in Spain while working remotely. It's one of the most popular visas today due to its speed and flexibility.

The essentials:

- If you are an employee: your company must be located outside of Spain and authorize remote work.

- If you are self-employed: you can have clients in Spain, but only **up to 20%**.
- You need proof of income, company certification/contracts, and health insurance.
- The TIE is optional because the visa already proves residency.

Perfect for: Freelancers, entrepreneurs, remote employees, online professionals.

This visa allows you to move to Spain without engaging in any work or professional activity, provided you can demonstrate financial solvency.

The essentials:

- It doesn't allow work.
- Requires proof of high economic means (minimum 400% of the IPREM).
- Private health insurance with no co-payments.
- You must apply for the TIE within the first month after arriving.

Perfect for: Retirees, people with savings, passive income, rents or family support.
